Multidisciplinary Assessments
A unique opportunity to have you and your horse assessed by our experienced Multidisciplinary Team.
We have learned from experience that the most effective way to enhance horse and rider partnership and performance is through a multidisciplinary approach.
The level of training, the effect of injury or discomfort and the psychological state of horse and rider will all influence the harmony of the partnership and affect performance.
The Multidisciplinary Team comprises of:
British Horse Society Intermediate Instructor and Assistant Instructor.
List 3 and FEI Dressage Judge.
Chartered Physiotherapist.
Equine McTimoney-Corley manipulator and therapist.
Equine behaviouralist/rebalancer.
Remedial Saddle Fitter.
The Team Members have experience producing and competing horses from unbacked to international level in dressage, showjumping and eventing.
The involvement of a team of Subject Matter Experts in the assessment multiplies the benefit, aids speedy resolution of problems and optimises potential. This approach not only can lead to a more swift diagnosis and in turn, a specific and correct work programme for you and your horse , but will save considerable time and money on several visits to different specialists.
The Assessment includes:
• Observation of the horse’s general conformation and movement.
• Observation of the horse ridden.
• Rider Assessment.
• If appropriate one of the team will ride the horse to assess level of training and understanding.
• Equine physical assessment to determine any areas of discomfort/stiffness that may be affecting performance
• The basic Assessment will take in the region of 2 hours.
• You will receive a comprehensive report of your assessment including observations and recommendations.
